AboutBogdan Kanuka is a multidisciplinary artist working across printmaking, ceramics, and monotype. His practice focuses on reinterpreting traditional techniques through contemporary themes of transformation, memory, and symbolic language.
Through a research-driven and process-based approach, Kanuka builds a cohesive body of work that explores how minimal forms, archetypal imagery, and repeated gestures can carry meaning across time and cultural contexts. His work engages with myth, ritual, and visual reduction, positioning making itself as a reflective and philosophical act.
Kanuka’s practice is shaped by international contexts, including New York and ongoing engagement with European art platforms and publications. Working between mediums and disciplines, he develops a visual language that balances intuitive gesture with structural clarity.
In parallel with his artistic practice, Kanuka is the founder of NUA Institute, an independent international art initiative focused on research-based exhibitions, workshops, and contemporary artistic discourse.
